Terms of Service

QR Project is a free, no-signup tool to generate, customize, scan, and download QR codes directly in your browser. The service is offered as-is, without guarantees of uptime or specific functionality.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Distribute malicious links, malware, or phishing content through the QR codes you generate.
• Infringe on intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law.
• Harass, defraud, or harm others.
• Generate QR codes intended to circumvent security or access systems you are not authorized to use.

You are solely responsible for the content you encode in your QR codes.

We don't store or process the data you enter — it stays in your browser. As a result, we have no copy, ownership, or visibility over what you create. The QR codes you generate belong entirely to you.

The source code, design, and brand of this service are protected. You may use the QR codes you generate freely for personal or commercial purposes. Logos and images you upload remain your property.

Templates and visual frames provided by the service are available for use with your generated QR codes; redistribution of the templates themselves outside the service is not permitted.

The Scan with camera feature requires explicit permission from your browser. We don't access your camera otherwise, and the stream is closed as soon as you exit the scanner.

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that generated QR codes will be readable in every context, on every device, or under all conditions. Always test your QR codes before printing or deploying them at scale.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the service — including, but not limited to, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm.

We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Features available today may not be available tomorrow. We'll do our best to keep the core generator working.

These terms may evolve over time. The Last updated date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
